Shehla Chatoor’s launches “Nur-e-Alaleh” in a dazzling manner.

‘Nur-e-Alaleh’ means light from heavenly flower and with that Shehla Chatoor’s artisanal ‘Nur-e-Alaleh’ bridal couture collection is a romantic ode to Shehla Chatoor’s forte; which is exquisitely dovetailing with intricate old world embroidery – resham, beaten mukesh, zardozi (gold-work), vintage sequins, metal-works, pearls, Swarovski crystals with sleek silhouettes. To be precise it is a romantic ballad encapsulating an epic unification of couturier’s impeccable attention to detail.

Tracing its impetus to Rumi’s esoteric quotes about nature’s stunning flora and fauna, the collection’s sumptuous embellishment is wholly handcrafted into delicate floral, exotic birds, butterfly motifs transposed onto a medley of draped, ruffled, cinched, flared and cascading. This with lame vintage velvet and tulle objects d’art including a unique and modern off-the-shoulder tuxedo jacket.

Subtle hues emboldened with rich accents – soft salmon accented with deep magenta; delicate ivory with royal blue inflections and an assemblage of whispering blue, mint, gold and silver pieces create indubitably ethereal, enchanted and dreamlike visions highlighted with fringe, plumage and shimmer.

SHEHLA Chatoor’s Nur-e-Alaleh bride is a modern, elegant woman who has a surgeon’s eye for intricately luxe details; desires effortless glamour and yearns to make an enduring impression; juxtaposing timeless elegance with contemporary romance and femininity in her bridal choice.

The dreamy and swoon-worthy collection is thus ideal for both, a cool relaxed destination wedding to Marbella in Spain, Maldives or Santorini in Greece or a traditional and majestic family affair.

SHEHLA is truly grateful to Sophia Webster for providing the shoes for this show. The renowned shoe designer was approached to provide the shoes for this show due to their use of flora and fauna. The shoes are from Sophia Webster’s collection.

Be dazzeled and be romanced by the light and shadow of SHEHLA’s enchanting Nur-e-Alaleh and as Rumi said; “Let yourself by drawn by the stronger pull of that which you truly love.”

After the launch of her dazzling enchanting Nur-e-Alaleh SHEHLA Chatoor thanked everyone present had special words for RAKA events, Frieha Altaf, Catwalk Events, O21, Mind-map, Talking Point, Chottani Jewellers and Sophia Webster.
