The original soundtrack for the most talked about drama serial directed by film and television director Nadeem Baig, ‘Sinf e Aahan’ sung by the talented and renowned Zeb Bangash is out now.
The soundtrack has been composed by Asim Azhar and Hassan Ali Hashmi and is sung by Zeb Bangash along with Asim Azhar. The music for the track has been composed by Qasim Azhar. The song goes with the storyline of 5 young women played by Sajal Aly, Yumna Zaidi, Kubra Khan, Syra Yousuf & Ramsha Khan and their individual journey to becoming officials in the Pakistan Army.

About Zeb Bangash: Zeb Bangash, is a renowned Pakistani singer and composer. The talented singer has appeared in five seasons of Coke Studio since 2009, giving us landmark hits like Aja Re More Saiyyan, Roshe, Dilruba Na Raazi and Chal Diye. Since then, Zeb has performed songs across borders as well including her solo song ‘Ajnabi’ in the Bollywood film Madras Café ‘Sooha Saha’ in Highway and ‘Haminastu’ in Fitoor. Back home she has lent her voice for iconic hits like ‘Sambhal Sambhal’ from Verna, ‘Bekaraan’ from Superstar and ‘Moray Saiyyan’ from ‘Parey Hutt Love’ as well as the multiple award winning official sound track for the drama serial ‘Diyar e Dil’.
After her award winning performance in Ghisi Piti Mohabbat earlier this year, the talented Ramsha Khan is coming back with a power-packed performance in the highly anticipated serial ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’, representing Baluchistan in her role as ‘Pariwesh Jamal’.
Pariwesh, Khan’s character, is a small town girl from Baluchistan who is shown to be fearless as she fights all odds to achieve her dream to join the army. She breaks all stereotypes and goes against the norms of her society to do her nation proud.
Her character’s teaser was released by ARY Digital today, giving the audience a sneak into Pariwesh’s character and journey to become an army cadet, and includes a personalized official sound track (OST) sung in Brahvi (the ethnic language from Baloch region) crooned by the talented vocalist Zeb Bangash.
From the reveal of the first announcement of the serial, ‘Sinf e Aahan’ has captured the audiences’ hearts where each of the female lead namely Sajal Aly, Syra Yousuf, Yumna Ziadi, Kubra Khan and Sri Lankan star Yehali Tashiya will be playing military cadets alongside Ramsha Khan. Each character hails from a different background and yet they all achieve their dreams despite all odds to join the army and serve the nation. Even though they are different from one another, one thing each woman has in common in the trailer is that “she doesn’t need a hero, she was raised to be one.”
The much anticipated project has been produced by Samina Humayun Saeed and Sana Shahnawaz of Next Level Entertainment along with Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib of Six Sigma Plus in association with ISPR. The series has been directed by Nadeem Baig and written by the renowned playwright Umera Ahmed.

The trailer launch was held at the lush green gardens of Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi and hosted by Zhalay Sarhadi saw most of the notables from the film, entertainment, and media industry in attendance, for a special screening of the movie trailer, followed by a Meet & Greet session with the cast, and a press conference for the media. Some noteworthy names among the guest list were Fahad Mustafa, Madeha Naqvi, Jerjees Seja, Saqib Malik, Nadeem Baig, Emraan Rajput, Ali Kureshi and Ehteshamuddin.
The plot of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ revolves around the air of mistrust after the fall of Dhaka. The film is a recap of the existing mindset and curiosity around the subject, which is interestingly knit into a journey of students exploring the history and making history by doing what is not obvious and expected. Instead following the path of mutual respect, love and peace for all. ‘Khel Khel Mein’ features veteran actor Marina Khan, who is part of the cast, with Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas as lead characters. The film also stars Sheheryar Munawar, while the cast also includes notable names such as Javed Sheikh, Manzar Sehbai, Nazar Hussain, Naveed Raza, Irfan Motiwala, Zehra Nawab, and Samina Ahmed.
Producer of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and CEO of Filmwala Productions, Fizza Ali Meerza shared her views at the trailer launch by saying that; “as a film-maker and a producer, I did not wait to take my film to the cinemas. So I urge and expect our audiences to do the same. Do not wait to return back to the cinemas, just get there”. Fizza Ali Meerza is known for her stellar productions, namely Na Maloom Afraad (2014), Actor in Law (2016), Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017), and Load Wedding (2018), and has also recently won the Best International Feature film at the Rajasthan International Film Festival.
Replying to a question about the story, Fizza Ali Meerza said; “we like to do, what others don’t do, this is my way of contributing back to the society. With this story I feel that we would be contributing back to our region”. She further added by saying; “we should stop being shy, today when we can talk on most of the taboos, then why can’t, we speak about this topic?”

Seasoned and veteran actor Manzar Sehbai shared his views by saying that; “a film must give some space to its viewers and this film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ has given too much choices to it viewers. This defiantly is a good try and I must congratulate Fizza and Nabeel for this film”.

After his successful foray into the digital world with the hit web series ‘Ek Jhooti Love Story’ this year, Bilal Abbas Khan is once again headed to the small screen with drama serial ‘Dunk’, slated to go on-air from 23rd December, Wednesday, at 08:00 PM on ARY Digital.
This marks as his third project with director Badar Mehmood, who he has previously worked with in the critically acclaimed dramas Cheekh and Balaa, earning Lux Style Awards nominations for both two years in a row. His new drama ‘Dunk’ is a murder mystery where Bilal Abbas would be seen in a lead role opposite Sana Javed for the first time. Starring as ‘Haider’, Bilal would be playing a realistic and honest role after his multiple eccentric and unique characters this year.
“Dunk is a very special story – one that will create a lot of noise, and one that needs to be told. My character is a very realistic one – Haider is an honest guy who stands with the truth and fights for what is right,” said Bilal Abbas Khan, talking about his role. “It was also great to reunite with my Cheekh and Balaa team – and it is always a pleasure working with Badar (Mehmood). Mind-Boggling trailer, with aptly cast innocent looking lead Sana Javed, playing the character of a college student who has accused her professor, a sober family man, Noman Ejaz, as Humayun.
This is a debate that has ignited amongst the genders today, how far can you take a lie without proof? The dialogues, locales and performances by the entire cast, including the current sensation, Bilal Abbas & the girl playing the daughter of professor Humayun, leaves me stunned with her dialogue delivery.
The trailer has made me re-think my stance about the #metoo movement where a sexual abuse survivor denounces her aggressor, yet again the female being a considered a victim, a symbol of honor & the weaker sex, we have only & always seen this allegation from her perspective, DUNK makes me realize how capable this gender bias is in our inbred society, that can shatter a man’s life with 1 single violation of his character, that even his own daughter makes his touch of fatherly protection & purity, seem questionable.
DUNK seems to be highlighting this much needed conversation by weaving a story that depicts a man as a protagonist & his questionable act against the weaker gender.
