Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi hosted trailer release ceremony of the movie ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’.

Arts Council of Pakistan (ACP) Karachi hosted the trailer launch ceremony of renowned filmmaker duo Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza’s upcoming film and also the most anticipated movie of post-covid era ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’. This trailer launch ceremony was held ACP Karachi’s main auditorium on 09^th June 2022 and well attended by various showbiz personalities including Javed Sheikh, Azan Sami, Faisal Qureshi, President ACP Karachi Muhammad Ahmad Shah.

The launch event, moderated by Aamna Haider Isani, was started with one minute’s silence for sad demise of media’s darling Dr. Aamir Liaqat. Aamna Isani said; “with ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’, this will first time that we will get to see our two superstars Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa sharing the big screen. Productions started pre-coivd and had to be postponed several times. Directed by Nabeel Qureshi, produced by Fizza Ali Meerza, presented by Filmwala Pictures in Association with Vidly.Tv, ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ is all set for releasing worldwide on Eid ul Azha 2022”.

Our very own superstar Mahira Khan will be seen after a long time on big screen, sharing her views on her come back film ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’, she said; “I had a lot of fun working with Fahad and I can say that Fahad is as talented as Shahukh Khan”.

She further added by saying that; “it was an amazing experience with amazing director and equally amazing producer. Fahad is gonna carry this film on his shoulders with his powerful role coupled with his even more powerful acting, on-screen presence and his charisma”.

Male of lead of ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ Fahad Mustafa shared his views by saying; “the story of this film is very unique. We have tried to present the story of the corruption is a very humorous way”, he further added by saying’ “this film ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ is a very meaningful in our current situation. the story is the most important thing of the film”.

Without giving much away, Fahad Mustafa said; “in this film I had work with animals in a song, which was very difficult for me. This film focuses on corruption. We as nation have a corruption denial mode and that is spreading like a cancer. I don’t see it stopping of it any-where or any-soon”.

Nabeel Qureshi, the director ‘Quaid-e-Azam said; “this movie comes with a social message and we can assure that this won’t be an extended drama. This will be a proper movie with special visual effects (VFX) and has a very interesting story that will keep the viewers you glued to their seats”.

He further added that; “Mahira Khan has a very important role in the movie, Javed Sheikh will be seen in a unique way as a police constable and Fahad Mustafa has worked very hard in the film”.

He concluded by saying; “we are very hopeful that ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ will do wonders at box office, despite that fact that we will be facing stiff competition from local as well international releases”.

Producer of the movie Fizza Ali Meerza said that; “the rumors being spread about the film are baseless and wrong. It should be noted that under the banner of Filmwala pictures ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ will be released on Eid-ul-Adha. It will be a grand launch as we are planning to launch in 14 countries. It will be a huge film, production of which started before covid. I can assure that you will thoroughly enjoy every moment of ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’.

During questions & answer session, someone enquired about the budget of ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ which the wasn’t replied positively by the panel.

On another question regarding music, response was; “Shaani has produced the music for ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zinda Bad’ and pretty soon music promotions will start”. 

Trailer doesn’t give much away about the story-line, but its on one of the hottest topic being discussed all around from top to bottom i.e. ‘Corruption’. Fahad Mustafa will sharing the screen mostly and will be accompanied by cute looking Mahira Khan who wouldn’t be doing much rather than showing off her beautiful face. From trailer I can safely say that, Mahira Khan wont be leaving much of of an impact, and Fahad Mustafa will dominate with his charisma, skills and larger than life character. One character do reminds me of Asif Ali Zardari. Let hope that censor-board stays cool on it. Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad seems like a better movie as compared to other Eid-ul-Ahda’s local release, but will not fare better then London Nahi Jauga.

Filmwala Pictures releases trailer of ‘Khel Khel Mein’.

The highly anticipated movie ‘Khel Khel Mein’ starring Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas by Filmwala Pictures in media partnership with ARY Digital is the first Pakistani movie to be released nationwide in 2021 post-COVID, with a stellar cast and renowned director-producer duo, Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza at the helm. While the movie is set to be released on 19^th November 2021 in cinemas across the country, today marked the release of the movie’s trailer in a special launch event organized by Filmwala Pictures.

The trailer launch was held at the lush green gardens of Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi and hosted by Zhalay Sarhadi saw most of the notables from the film, entertainment, and media industry in attendance, for a special screening of the movie trailer, followed by a Meet & Greet session with the cast, and a press conference for the media. Some noteworthy names among the guest list were Fahad Mustafa, Madeha Naqvi, Jerjees Seja, Saqib Malik, Nadeem Baig, Emraan Rajput, Ali Kureshi and Ehteshamuddin.

The plot of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ revolves around the air of mistrust after the fall of Dhaka. The film is a recap of the existing mindset and curiosity around the subject, which is interestingly knit into a journey of students exploring the history and making history by doing what is not obvious and expected. Instead following the path of mutual respect, love and peace for all. ‘Khel Khel Mein’ features veteran actor Marina Khan, who is part of the cast, with Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas as lead characters. The film also stars Sheheryar Munawar, while the cast also includes notable names such as Javed Sheikh, Manzar Sehbai, Nazar Hussain, Naveed Raza, Irfan Motiwala, Zehra Nawab, and Samina Ahmed.

Producer of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and CEO of Filmwala Productions, Fizza Ali Meerza shared her views at the trailer launch by saying that; “as a film-maker and a producer, I did not wait to take my film to the cinemas. So I urge and expect our audiences to do the same. Do not wait to return back to the cinemas, just get there”. Fizza Ali Meerza is known for her stellar productions, namely Na Maloom Afraad (2014), Actor in Law (2016), Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017), and Load Wedding (2018), and has also recently won the Best International Feature film at the Rajasthan International Film Festival.

Replying to a question about the story, Fizza Ali Meerza said; “we like to do, what others don’t do, this is my way of contributing back to the society. With this story I feel that we would be contributing back to our region”. She further added by saying; “we should stop being shy, today when we can talk on most of the taboos, then why can’t, we speak about this topic?”

Nabeel Qureshi, Director of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ commented by saying that; “this movie ‘Khel Khel Mein’ is very different compared to all my other films. We shot it during the COVID times and it’s a product of a lot of thought, hard work, and love. I hope people will come watch the film with the same love we made it with”. Nabeel Qureshi has has several prestigious awards under his belt and is known as one of the founding pioneers of independent films in Pakistan.

Replying to a question, Nabeel Qureshi replied; “this movie ‘Khel Khel Mein’ has some elements of nostalgia to it, as our last movie Load Wedding was released three years back. Cinema is our livelihood and we cannot survive without it”.

When asked about the film he replied; “‘Khel Khel Mein’ is a lot different movie, a genre and new leading cast. This is first time I am venturing out without Fahad Mustafa. ‘Khel Khel Mein’ will bridge the gap between Pakistan & Bangladesh and I am hopeful that this will be a game changer within the region. We have worked very hard to keep a lot of things very organic, but you should understand that dialects are common and can give you a similar feel to them”.

Seasoned and veteran actor Manzar Sehbai shared his views by saying that; “a film must give some space to its viewers and this film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ has given too much choices to it viewers. This defiantly is a good try and I must congratulate Fizza and Nabeel for this film”.

Leading lady of ‘Khel Khel Mein’, Sajal Aly said; “it was always a dream for me to work with Nabeel Qureshi which is now fulfilled. ‘Khel Khel Mein’ is vastly different from my all previous projects and I enjoyed a lot doing it. I hope that audiences will also enjoy as much as we have”.

Leading man of ‘Khel Khel Mein’, Bilal Abbas shared his views by saying that; “my character in this movie is very simple, didn’t had to work much hard. For this film, its unique selling point will be its story-line. No one have touched a similar story for any film”.

Bilal Abbas Khan starrer film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ releasing on 19th November 2021.

After ruling the small screen & winning a best actor at Lux Style Awards (LSA) a few weeks ago, heartthrob Bilal Abbas Khan is all set to make his mark on the big screen with the film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ opposite Sajal Aly set to release in cinemas nationwide on the 19^th of November, 2021.

Directed by the ace director Nabeel Qureshi and produced by Fizza Ali Mirza under the banner, Filmwala Pictures, the story depicts a youthful take on historic events. ‘Khel Khel Mein’ will be the first film releasing in cinemas post Covid 19.

The multi starrer feature film also stars Javed Sheikh, Marina Khan, Manzar Sehbai, Samina Ahmed, Farhan Aly Agha, Mojiz Hassan, Zehra Nawab, and Naveed Raza. The music of the film has been done by maestros Shani Arshad, Shuja Haider and Asrar Shah.

About Bilal Abbas Khan: The young heart-throb rose to fame from his first play O’ Rangreza and became known for playing many unconventional roles in critically acclaimed projects including Haseeb Hasan’s made for television film ‘Laal’, Zee 5’s web-series ‘Ek Jhooti Love Story’ and a number of mega hit drama serials like Balaa, Cheekh, & Pyar Ke Sadqay – which also got him is first Lux Style Award as a Best Actor.
