Trailer of upcoming movie ‘London Nahi Jaunga’ releases at Nueplex Cinema, Karachi.

Six Sigma Plus, Salman Iqbal and ARY Films launched the trailer of film, ‘London Nahi Jaunga’. The trailer premiered at Nueplex Cinema Karachi on Saturday 11^th June 2022, to a full house of press (including members of social-media, print-media & electronic-media), editors and celebrities from the entertainment fraternity as well as notable directors.

The movie ‘London Nahi Jaunga’ is a romantic comedy with a touch of family drama and, at the same time, lots of passion, intrigue, ambition, and power struggles that encapsulate its journey.

The film stars some of the most powerful names in Pakistani cinema such as Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Sohail Ahmed, Vasay Chaudhry, and Saba Hameed. It is produced by Salman Iqbal, Humayun Saeed, Shehzad Nasib and Jerjees Seja. Nadeem Baig is the director of the film. The script is the work of acclaimed writer, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar.

The buzz around the upcoming movie has been electrifying, and it has already garnered a lot of attention with people loving the scale and magnitude that the trailer promises as well as soulful Music to groove to only some of which has been revealed.

Salman Iqbal CEO ARY Group said; “this is the moment that the Pakistani film industry has been waiting for, ever since the pandemic, films in the country have taken a major hit. With the release of ‘London Nahi Jaonga’ we are seeing a much needed resurgence in the industry”.

Major film releases in the country had come to a halt during the last few years, with little to no expression of art and creativity. ‘London Nahi Jaonga’ with its star studded cast will definitely be a breath of fresh air and open doors for newer releases”, stated the CEO of ARY Network Jerjees Seja on the trailer launch event.

CEO of ARY Network went on to say that; “this film will be a game changer for Pakistani film industry, we have plans for international release as well and this one is going to be one of the biggest release for any Pakistani movie”.

While the much-celebrated director Nadeem Baig observed; “film making is a joy that took a back seat due to COVID in the last four years but, now we are back to it again and I couldn’t be happier with the work we have put in ‘London Nahi Jaunga’. I hope the audiences feel what we are feeling with it!”.

Nadeem Baig stressed on the point that; “this film ‘London Nahi Jaonga’ is not a sequel of Punjab Nahi Jaongi, but is of same genre, which is romantic comedy.” 

Mehwish Hayat lead actress of the film express her views, “it has taken 4 tough years to complete this venture. Every project is different from one another and I can’t wait to give my country this eid-ul-adha gift!”.

Mehwish Hayat all set to steal the limelight with ‘London Nahi Jaonga’, releasing this Eid-ul-Adha.

Male lead of ‘London Nahi Jaonga’ Humayoon Saeed showed his excitement against other two major releases this Eid ul Adha, which are ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ and other being an international release ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’. He was confident that Pakistani crowd would opt for local heroes Fahad Mustafa & Humayoon Saeed over Christopher Hemsworth (Thor: Love and Thunder).

Relying to a question on Eid releases, Humayoon Saeed responded by saying; “during these horrid times when only one movie is being released, we are left with no options but to go for Eid release, pretty soon we will be releasing more than one movie / year then we will release part from Eid also and we will be catering to other genres also”.

Replying to another question, of music of ‘London Nahi Jaonga’, he replied; “all songs of the movie are in Punjabi and having said that there are plans for a Punjabi film soon. Dubbing in other languages is also under active consideration”. 

Trailer doesn’t give much away, but is seems more a sequel of some previous movie. If you watch Humayoon Saeed closely you will fell that he seems to start exactly from where he left at prequel. Just by watching Humayoon Saeed with his monologue dialogue delivery, you can safely call this movie Punjab Nahi Jaungi Part 2′ aka London Nahi Jaunga.

Then enters Mehwish Hayat with all of her beauty, charisma, appeal, acting-skills, body-language and effortless dialogue-delivery will put you under her mesmerizing spell for while and once you get over it then will realize that Mehwish Hayat with her star-appeal and on-screen-charisma, will carry this movie entirely on her shoulders.

Ramsha Khan and Wahaj Ali come back together in ‘Ghissi Pitti Muhabbat’.

After winning the audience’s hearts in Mah-e-Tamaam, the gorgeous on-screen couple Ramsha Khan & Wahaj Ali are finally re-uniting for ARY Digital’s upcoming drama ‘Ghissi Pitti Muhabbat’.

Ramsha Khan, who has been the talk of the town with her performance in Ishqiya, will be seen playing Samia, a millennial who, according to the teasers of the drama recently released, believes in speaking up for herself and doesn’t let anyone exploit her.

The Ehd-e-Wafa & Bikhray Moti famed Wahaj Ali is introduced as Rizwan in the teasers. His role is the cool and energetic young lad who likes to go with the trend.

The drama is produced by IDream Entertainment and directed by Ahmed Bhatti, who Ramsha Khan has previously worked with on the 2019 blockbuster ‘Kaisa Hai Naseeban.’  The all-star cast also includes Saba Faisal, Saba Hameed, Samina Ahmed, Saifee Hasan, Shahood Alvi, Khalifa Sajeer-ud-din, & Sana Askari.

Sharing her views Ramsha Khan said; “It was super fun to be reunited with both Wahaj (Ali) and my Kaisa Hai Naseeban team, Abdullah (Seja) & (Ahmed) Bhatti Bhai. This drama my role Samia is like a polar opposite to Hamna in Ishqiya, and I guess that’s what makes it so exciting for me – to play an outspoken, strong and independent girl”. 

“Working with Ramsha (Khan) is always fun, coz we are good friends and work off each other’s energies on set,” stated Wahaj Ali. “Rizwan’s character actually excited me because it was very close to the youth of today – someone connected with social media, impulsive, and living for the moment. Not the usual good or the bad hero we typically get to play on TV”. 

“Ghissi Pitti Muhabbat” is scheduled to go on air on ARY Digital in August 2020.

Ahsan Khan & Ushna Shah to create magic on-screen in ‘Bandhay Ek Dour Se’

Yet another on-screen unconventional celebrity couple is all set to hit our screens this month and this time it is the power-packed pair of Ushna Shah and Ahsan Khan, all set to breeze their way in Geo Entertainment’s new drama ‘Bandhay Ek Dour Se’.

The story is penned by Faiza Ifthikar of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi fame and is helmed by the star director Ali Faizan. The drama is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi’s 7^th Sky Entertainment.

Joining Ahsan Khan and Ushna Shah in the cast are Hina Altaf in a supporting role, Saba Faisal, Saba Hameed, Samina Ahmed, Noor Hassan, Madiha Rizvi, Ali Rizvi, Qavi Khan and many more.

The promos of the drama are grabbing eyeballs on social media and the duo has dazzled the viewers with their palpable chemistry in the teaser.

Speaking to media about his role in the drama, Ahsan Khan revealed; “my character is of a young, guy-next-door, happy-go-lucky person and he tries to always keep his family united. There is also a love story revolving around him and he tries his best to take it to marriage while connecting two families to it. The character has satire in it which later turns serious and also has an innocence to it”.

Ushna Shah also revealed major details about her avatar and we can’t wait to see her in the exciting role. She said; “I play the role of Maheen – the protagonist in the story. She is Umar’s cousin, played by Ahsan Khan. She is a very nice, bubbly, well-mannered girl who is very mature for her age. She lands herself in a situation that is very painful but she has to handle it and maintain her dignity throughout. At the same time, there is a beautiful love and romance she gets involved in”.

The leading pair also divulged that the drama will be devoid of clichéd saas-bahu dilemmas and will highlight the sweet and sour life of middle-class households.

“If the audience wants to watch a story of a household and families, something very light while also very deep and which we all can connect to, then this drama is for them. It is very casual, light-hearted, and emotional. It is very well-shot and well-written describing issues that happen in common households. If the viewers are looking for entertainment and love old PTV, family-oriented dramas, then this project will take them back in time as it has enjoyable elements that fans will get riveted to,” stated Ahsan.

Ushna added that the plot will also depict strong unity amongst women that is surely much needed on our television screens, she said; “it will be a whole-hearted Pakistani family drama which will be very entertaining. It is not a typical saas-bahu drama but about love, loyalty, and also about unity amongst women in a household,” revealed Ushna.
